It has become fashionable to call Darrell Evans underrated, but we won't select him, though he is still underrated by many. Also, Bill Bradley's defensive stats are so much better than any other 3B in his era that it's hard to ignore him. But, we'll go with Bando, who when you look at the numbers, wasn't that much different than Ron Santo. Unlike Santo, however, Bando was a key member of three pennant-winning teams. He was very good at every important aspect of the game: hitting, defense, power, strike zone judgment.
