Frank Thomas

“The Big Hurt” entered the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014, his first year of eligibility. Thomas looked like he should have been a limbering power hitter, but he was much, much more than that. He led the American League in batting and on-base percentage a combined five times. He captured back-to-back MVP Awards in 1993-94, and is the best hitter who played the majority of his career as a member of the Chicago White Sox.

We rank him #1 all-time among Designated Hitters.
